Bruce Spurr of WebofImpact has generated a few useful tips on client-oriented presentation creation:Due Diligence – know the client see the presentation from their perspective:
- Instruct and Evoke rather than inform
- Examples to back up every statement
- Show and understanding of their issues and perspective
- Be plainly honest
- Use diagrams, images, anything but words. Use words as a last recourse when an idea can be presented no other way
- Make the presentation available online for the client immediately after meeting
- Tell a story, don’t just show the end result
