From the WSJ via Slashdot, a story about the infamous St. Louis Museum, The central issue is liability at museums, especially hands-on with kids. Learning is tactile and experiential at its best, and the City Museum’s take on where the line should go between injury and experience is a little different that most facilities. That said, it is an interesting look at an alternate universe where people are liable for their own safety.
Most interestingly? It is a computer-free zone, according to the museum’s founder.
